How Do They Work?
The ActivePure® technology uses light waves and a catalytic process to make scrubber ions and hydroperoxides that destroy contaminants on surfaces and in the air. Using the same oxidation and ionization properties, a high-intensity UVC light protects and purifies the environment around you as naturally occurring in sunlight. It covers up to 3,000 square feet of space.
ActivePure has been tested in a variety of settings and has been proven effective in reducing bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens on surfaces in the air in university and lab tests. This includes DNA and RNA viruses such as swine flu (H1N1), avian bird flu (H5N8), Hepatitis A (HAV), and MS2 bacteriophage. Although COVID is an RNA virus, this technology has not yet been tested in its effectiveness in killing or preventing this novel virus.
